Extreme pixelated image
Hi, I'm experiencing a very poor image resolution like if everything was rendered in 480p and then upscaled to my screen definition (with a realy pixelated effect).

I'm playing in 4K, and tested the game with different graphic config parameters (ultra, low, etc...) but the result is always the same. I've deleted the PSOChache too, and rebuilt it many times, but the problem persists. I even tryed to bypass the game setting through radeon setting.

Everything looks very pixelated (looks like i'm playing a PS1 game), even if my config handle without any problem 4K, 60pfs, medium settings: i5-7600K, Vega RX 64, 16Go Ram.

Moreover, elements far from the camera like the sky, mountains, etc.. are very very pixelated (like if they where rendered at 100x100px only). I'll try to share a printscreen.

Does any of you encounter the same problem and foud a solution ? Any help is welcome, as currently the game is realy hard to play

Could be something to do with your vega. Seem to recall from benchmarks, this game does NOT play nice with the vega architecture.

Either that or you're getting the downsampling issue from changing your resolution away from whatever the game auto-detected it as.
So here's a screen: https://gofile.io/d/Ul0DJO

I saw that the benchmark for this game on vega64 are pretty bad, but i can run the game at 4@60fps on it.

Hm. Two things to try. One, check that you don't have the resolution scaler turned down below 100%. Two, press alt+enter twice to toggle windowed/full screen and back to see if it you're getting the downsampling issue.
Hi, I finally found a solution: overide game settings from the radeon software + lock fps at 30. Strangely forcing the game to run at 30 fps solved the problem...

Weird.

Though, upside to 30fps: Hair, cloth, facial animations and mouse input all function correctly.

Oh. Possible you had the adaptive fps setting on. That changes the render resolution on the fly to hit a target framerate.

Sounds like you got Adaptive Performance selected Turn it Off As no way will you get 60fps@4k Not till they sort out some things.

Adaptive Performance will downgrade to favour fps over quality. You should get 1440 40fps with out to much hassle High setting with reflection medium and Clouds Medium should do it. Turn off V Sync and set FPS to Unlimited. Full Screen. Works for me so should work for your rig.

I highly doubt you played any in recent times to renew your memory on how it looks haha.

On the screenshot the Clouds look like that on lower settings from what i could see from DF video.

Also if i remember correctly the game sometimes does funky things with 4K (DF also talked about it).
