Will HZD on PC make you buy a PS5 and the sequel?
From the PlayStation blog:

"We’re confident PC players will fall in love with Aloy and her world. Then, when Horizon Forbidden West arrives for PlayStation 5 and it’s time to find out where Aloy’s journey takes her next, we invite them to join along!"

it will be a long wait, if ever.

the recent ps4 exclusives were released on steam as a marketing scheme. PS6 wont come for a long time, so seeing a ps5 port for a sony exclusive is unlikely.
If not il just watch walkthrough on youtube then xD

Definitely not. I've made peace that certain interesting exclusives will be out of my reach unless brought to PC. Could I afford a PS5+online subscription+game...probably, but I hate the idea of owning a bunch of different consoles for a few exclusives when there are plenty of games to take up my time as is. Why buy any multi-plat games on PS5 when I already have a PC that won't run REVIII like garbage...

- Does this game makes me excited for the sequel ? the answer is yes absoloutely

- Does this game makes me want to get a PS5 ? the answer is no, absoloutely no as no other game made me want to buy a console for it before and no game ever will as long as the console performance target would always be crappy unplayable 30 fps

i already skipped the last two generations of consoles mainly due to the performance restrictions and never looked back despite all the games they offered as i could not play for more than 10 minutes without feeling dizzy and nauseous from the low fps and the high input latency

Realise the consoles are capable of 120hz right...?
https://www.windowscentral.com/xbox-series-x-120hz
At what settings and resolution though....120Hz 720p, yay...

4K resolution, im highly expecting it wont be a native 4K resolution but even so its impressive from a console.

no game is gonna run on a console at 4k and 120 fps, at least not without looking like minecraft.

Technically, my PC is capable of 240Hz 8K.
Does it actually? ♥♥♥♥ no.

Because being capable of something and actually doing it is different.

My PC can do it, while running the first game ever made maybe.
It has the capability to, but not the power to actually achieve it with modern games.

Man instead of whining about it on a forum, go watch it somewhere -_- tthere is 2 types of people when it comes to tech, educated and uneducated. Either go read and prove it as fact or simply say nothing. There is plenty of footage from reputable tech sites showing 4k, 120hz running on the hardware. Stop getting mad because a plastic box can do something, its using PC technology TO DO IT, this is a good thing for the PC space ffs.

Dirt 5 runs on the Xbox Series X at 4K60, because of its visual complexity it runs at 1440p120hz

Bringing up Minecraft it is stated to run at 4K120 on the Series X anyway XD

Yeah, dream on, both consoles are nowhere near or close to run any game at 4k 120Hz.
Hell, most games they showcased are running at 4k 30fps, Gran Turismo and Godfall being the only running at 60fps not mentioning the resolution explicitly.

Read the article - 120fps at a LOWER resolution which is not even mentioned precisely but most likely will be 1080p.

where's the proof? do you know how many times pubs/devs claimed something and it turned out to be complete bs?

no game is gonna run at 4k 120 fps without serious sacrifices in graphical fidelity.
