The field of the fallen mission missing.

Anyone else missing this mission? I should be automaticly added after searching Olin's home, but i just finished the search, spoke with Erend, and went off to the world finishing other things. Now i realise when i wanted to get back to it, i dont have the mission in the log, tried searching the area where its supposed to be, nothing (I finished the game many times on PS4, i know how its supposed to be and where). Any idea how to fix this?

what this guy said, its a main quest too, you cant proceed until you finish those quests. really dont want to restart the whole game

Hmm do you have any auto save's from around then? Would you lose too much?

Looks like there were people having this bug on PS4 as well.

just happened today, in my second gameplay.. first one i dont have any issues. just after today run i noticed i can't find the marker for Erend's quest. It should popped up after finishing search for Olin quest.

I just kept going, and after you finish big chunk of story, and Sylens leaves, it will activate the quest.

I had the same glitch. Right after I searched Olin's house, I reloaded the auto save for some reason(don't remember what) and Erend was gone. Didn't think much of it, because I was gonna do some side quest anyways. I only noticed the quest missing all together after all the manual save from before was overwritten.

Thanks to this comment I just powered through the other main quest line, and got the field of the fallen eventually. If anyone wants to know more specifically when that is, it's right after you get the story achievement regarding a weapon.

I don't remember why it auto-triggers, but I think it's because of the fact that it involves a former ally of Erend's so eventually is necessary to complete so you can resolve that plot arc and have some chats with Avad.

For those who stumble on this thread from Google - looks like due to some bug this quest only (re)appers just after The Mountain that Fell is completed.

I wonder how that changes a lot of the dialog you have during that quest, 'cause you've basically learned everything about the Eclipse and are now chasing down a separate bad guy, heh.

I did most of the Frozen Wilds before going to Meridian. The find Olin, makers End, then Grave hoard afterwards.
And lost Errand's Quests. From the Quest selection.
I've got a save just before entering Meridian, only a few hours back. So going back to it. I'll do Errand's lot first. As I like to get it done before the Hunting lodge. To stick it to Ahsis :-)

Not sure when it disappears. May play with it first just to see when it happens. Getting curious.

Went back, did all from first entry to Meridian. To exiting the Grave Hoard.

"The Field of the Fallen" is in the quest list. And selectable. Go figure?
