Hello. I am looking for a save file after the main campaign, I do not care about side missions done,skills, level, currency etc. I have played the game fully on PS4 and I am trying to do a NG+ direcly now. I know some people here on steam finished the game. Any help will be highly apreciated.

I would like to have the Save File too, for a Ultra Hard Playtrough
You can find it in: X:\Users\"Username"\Documents\Horizon Zero Dawn\Saved Game

Was this possible? Another user was asking about recovering save game files, and as a last resort, I suggested borrowing a save game from another user. Is it possible to trade saves between users? So many games nowadays are "locked" to specific accounts.

Even with soft locks, Unless the save game file is stored remotely then you can usually edit this file to be playable on another system. Its usually a small four digit identifier that will be the same in all the saves the game produces. Using a hex editor you can usually then edit the ID from theirs to yours and boom you should be able to progress to NG+ without having to first complete the story line.

I never really understand why the developers especially for a game that has been out on other platforms for a while before the PC release continue to penalise fans of the game who move platforms but don't want to play the game from the start, Just offer us the NG+ option in the menu settings. Nioh was another game that had this very odd soft lock on game files.

I don't understand why savegames are getting locked to systems/accounts in the first place. It's one of the most retarded ideas developers came up with in the history of gaming.

I agree with that, bu the main "reason" is because of acquired stuff that the publishers don't want players just sharing about... so they can get your money in the long run. Or increase their chances to get..

The other 'reason' being just laziness. Too much trouble for no reward for them.

The saves for Horzion are not locked. I had gotten one 3 months ago 5 days after release to start NG+ directly and everything worked perfectly

Well if it helps....

I packed my save folder, where i played trough the game on normal and defeated the endboss. Loaded up a NG+ and didnt play anymore.
So this means if it works you can use it to create a NG+ game, or to play trough the DLC with my save file.
Indeed i havent touched the DLC, the quest is in the questlog to start it.

If you have played it on PS4, you can always ask me to convert your PS4 save for you.
I've done it already for a lot of people here.

The thing is, PS4 Save Wizard only allows a total of 3 different profiles at once.
Even though I can delete profiles, there is a cooldown-phase of 1 month to delete a profile in order to add a new one.

But you can still ask me to decrypt your PS4 savegame if you want to.

I just need the whole "PS4" folder with all its content of HZD to make it work.
