New game + and Ultra hard

Right now Im playing Horizon in Ultra Hard, Making all secondary quest, Hunter, everything.
But after looking on the web, I saw that in New game + u need to do all this again, you only keep your stuff, At this point I should just make primary quest and do the 100% in New game +? Its stupid to spend time for the 100% now if u need to do it again in new game + and in Ultra Hard lol , What do u think about this system of new game +, I was hoping seconday quest would stay completed in new game + .

I made the same mistake. ^^

Your first playthrough doesn't have to be ultra hard, as you don't get any benefit out of it.
Only if you play NG+ on ultra hard, you unlock ALL focus color or tatoo unlockables at once.

Already the regular machine can be challenging on that difficulty. oO

Yeah.. , I don't like finish the main quest when everything else is not done , Think I dont have the chose to decrease the difficulty and rush the main quest in first

why the hell would quests stay completed in ng+? it's still a new game..

Yes that's correct too.


If you collect all the collectables and audio files or documents, these will be erased on NG+ either.

So the first playthrough should really just be about the quests, not about getting 100%.
On my PS4 Pro, I played the game once, then once NG+ and I've played it then a third time (second NG+) for 100%.

I still recommend to do all sidequests, as you get experience out of it and you really need a good level on NG+ ultra hard.
Otherwise you'll have a hard time.

I almost died on Striders, Watchers in my video. XD
Basic robots...

Play Story/Easy for first playthrough and stockpile resources and shards for NG + Ultra hard. That way you unlock all the face paints and focus colours the second run.

yeah you right , but I mean there is no point to do seconday quest now if you have to do it again in new game + for 100%

Same here. ^^
Even though I started on PS4 on normal, before I went to ultra hard, I don't see any reason to lower the difficulty again for the PC version.

It's challenging, but it's not impossible.




I will regret these words as soon as I am in the Cauldron with the Thunderjaw at the end, or fighting against the Fireclaw in the DLC. :/

I'm on Ultra hard too , what i don't like is the vendor cost. I had to pay 2000 shards for the travel pack

There is also a Golden Fast Travel Pack at merchants above Tier 2.
You can use that one unlimited times.

I wonder how much that one costs. :O

On PS4 I gathered everything from use on my normal playthrough at first.
So I only faced exorbitant costs upon the weapons and gear I wanted to purchase.
Also included harvesting very rare machine parts.
Probably another reason for the +200 hrs there. ^^

It was the Golden Fast Travel Pack 2000 shards 3 fox pelts and 30 fatty meat

It bugged for me my save it seems got all achievements but now my face paints and such not being able to use them in a new game lower difficulty than ultra high went with medium to get all recordings and such this time around.
