Hardware question, my temps is too hot ?
Hi i just wanted to know if the temps i get on this game are to high for my pc and represent a threat to it's longevity or is it normal. I mean it's a new PC so i was wondering if this temps was normal considering i never reached temps that high with my older PC.

My spec are : And i reached 81° on max and 70-75° on average

Processor AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor

Video Card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER

RAM 16 GB

As it is while it could be better, you're fine.
Depending on how long you've had your current rig repasting could lower your temps by a few degrees

List your coolers and your desktop. There is many factors in play beyond 3 components

It's well within it's safety parameters, however the R5 3600 is well known to run hotter than it's previous lineup. I've got one as well and the stock cooler that comes with the R5 3600 is rather bad. I advise upgrading to a proper cooler, even one of 25-40$ will knock off about 20 degrees.

One like the "Arctic Freezer 34 eSports DUO" is best value for money. Costs around 30-40$ depending on your retailer

Don't worry about your GPU or CPU overheating. While I wouldn't say it's ''normal'' per sé, it can also depend on other factors, including how hot it is outside/in your room. While they're not gonna give you a 30c difference, it all does add up.

That being said, GPU's and CPU's, especially newer ones, have a built in safety. If they're getting close to dangerous temps, it'll shut down on their own to prevent damage. Chances of it actually overheating is fairly minimal.
