OK, so wtf are you doing, game? I'm at a bit over 50% now after almost 10 minutes. What's there to optimize? Never seen anything like this on a PC game before...

I genuinely don't see how this is a thing. I've literally never seen this done before. Just wtf were they doing when they made this port

Be Happy, i started the Game after it finished unpacking after an Hour, the "optimization" finished i put the Graphics Preferences, how i wanted them to be...restarted the Game...and guess what screen iam looking right now...ohh yes...

Yeah. Usually a game will "select the best settings based on your hardware", which will take 2 seconds. Now I'm already over 10 minutes in and still waiting to get to the main menu... dafuq is this?

It’s pre-compiling the shaders on first launch and lots of games do this. No man’s sky, elite dangerous, etc.

Shader optimizing i guess. Try Call of Duty/Warzone and you will see the same behaviour.

some game do optimazing shaders before the start (cod mw as exemple) :)

My first "Optimization" took like 90 Min, the second one...mhh 30% after 5 min...so 15 Minutes for a Game Start....thats not the reason, why i have a high end pc, for sure

Never had a game take even a fraction of that time though. Like a couple minutes maybe, but not over 15 minutes...

It´s shader compiling.
It´s only done once so i´m ok with it.
What i´m not ok with is the fact that the game crashes every time at 95,72%

Game has been unpacking since 8 and it's 11:07 now. Still not done. Looks like the next wait is an "optimization" exercise in more patience.

Ah yes youre right, as i can see i already have played the Game for 100 Minutes and iam starring at my Second 50% now >.<

Graphics are MORE than I expected!!! WOW! And no stutter on movement. Graphics on Ultra ( this was set automatically after about a 5 minute optimizing by the game on startup) and FPS is 60. Using Gigabyte RTX2070 Super with an AMD Ryzen 9 3900X

When I on this step, the memory of game is bigger and bigger. Then OS shutdown the game because memory reach the top (16GB WTF?!) So I haven't seen the menu yet.
