Terrible perfomance on pc!!
https://www.pcgameshardware.de/Horizon-Zero-Dawn-Spiel-55719/Tests/Horizon-Zero-Dawn-PC-Test-Review-Benchmarks-1355296/2/

From: Gamespot review:

"Horizon Zero Dawn remains a visually enticing game with rich natural environments and snow-capped mountains to trek through, all of which can look better than they did on PS4 and PS4 Pro if you have the right PC specs. Given the density of certain towns or villages, or chaos of some combat scenarios, frame rate can take a considerable dip, making it a fairly demanding game, but it may also noticeably stutter occasionally, making for some inconsistent performance. (I've used a Core i7-7700K, RTX 2080, and 16GB of RAM at ultrawide 2560x1080 resolution using maximum settings and TAA, and had dips to around 35-40 FPS in those intense moments.)"

4k / Ultra / 60fps currently impossible - DLSS2.0 patch please
First tests show, that currently even with a Titan RTX 4k / Ultra / 60fps is impossible. Please consider implementing DLSS2.0, it delivered amazing results in Death Stranding, that is useing the same (maybe newer version?) engine.
Thanks.

Update: here some detailed benchmarks with an RTX 2080 - 37fps average; so for the dream to become true we would need something with ~62% more performace, which currently does not exist (yet) :-(. But, a 2080Ti with DLSS2.0 should be capable ...

I honestly agree, even if they need to delay it.. I would rather wait for better results.

DLSS2.0 is super good, even in monster hunter.

no1 cares bro.
4k 60 is a meme.

Keep in mind, this is without the day one patch or optimized GPU drivers.
There are known performance issues the dev has acknowledged and stated will be fixed.

You are right - but only if you are still playing on an 27 inch monitor. Get a decent sized display and the difference is real.

Wrong. Many care. I play exclusivley on a 4K monitor. Some games like Division 2 for example run excellent for me at around 80-90fps and look stunning. you just need to adjust the settings. 4K/60 is very doable and will become even more common as higher end cards become cheaper.

Well, my stuffs all ultra wide screen, and have a seperate 4k monitor angled above for other things. But reports are showing 100+ FPS with a 2080ti and a 9900k at 1080p, 80+ at 1440p. So am guessing 60 FPS at 4k should be possible.
NO 8K 240FPS 3D. Game izzz unoptimized t4ash. 0/10

Omg. The nVidia drivers are already out.

For 4k @ 60 FPS, you need the 3080 Ti !

Death Stranding ran at 100+ FPS on 4k without the use of DLSS so I wonder what the difference is.
Gonsnakex Aug 5, 2020 @ 6:58am
I hope they implement it. Games with these graphics needs this option to run well at 4k and 60 fps

Yeah I tried playing Fortnite and had great FPS but when I try to play Red Dead Redemption 2 somehow it laggs.
WHATS THE DIFFERENCE ?

You must not realize that Death Stranding and HZD use the same graphics engine, and that DS is newer with more demanding graphics.

Nice attempt at trolling though, I guess. You play Fortnite though so you must be a kiddeh so won't hold it against you. :D:
