I think upgrading processor would be better, ram is also useful

I'd say upgrading to 16 Gb dual channel is better, because it will make all your games run smoother and it can even improve your fps. Save money for a better and newer processor

None of us can say right now I'm afraid.

A RX 580 is required for medium settings 1080p 60FPS. Same for the 1060.

If you have lower like RX 570 then you might want to put some settings to low to get it to 60FPS.

If you want a locked 60FPS then maybe low 900p as a RX 580 can't do a locked 60 at medium also? IDK how well this game will run but looking at the trailer and the required hardware to even get medium settings to work shows this game will be demanding, basically crysis again.

The only thing this cpu is better are the 4 more threads for multitasking. You wouldnt gain any better noticeable performance. Isnt a newer cpu no option? Both are from 2012, almost 10 years ago.
Also 16gb ram is standard these days, but 8 gb should work for most games.

A new motherboard is needed if you want to really upgrade, yes.
It depends on what you want. Do you want to play newer or the newest games and on which settings? If the answers are yes and ultra/high settings you should definately upgrade. At least cpu and i would recommend the ram too. With your gpu you are good for midrange. Or you go for a complete new pc setup. But i would wait till first quarter of next year when the new gpu's are on the market and many in stock and custom designs and benchmarks are avaialable. Again: Depends on what you want and what you can and want to spend. If you really wanna upgrade take your time and go to tech forums and get help if you arent familiar with all the hardware stuff and maybe teach yourself a bit, its not that complicated :claptrap:

Memory is not going to help FPS. Infact you will notice no difference if you have 16GB or 64GB oe even 8GB for some games . . Either you have enough memory or you dont. Memory is like a pitcher. You fill it with water ( Data). As long as the pitcher has enough space for all the water things work. Allthough it would be good to get more memory because 8 GB is minimum these days. The only thing of those 2 options that is going to give you better performance is a better CPU. Plus you pretty much have to match the memory which means either buying the same memory thats already installed or completlly replacing the memory.. Otherwise you will have different memory timings ( your BIOS only has 1 set of memory timings for all the memory installed )which can cause your PC to be unstable. For that reason its best to buy all your memory at the same time in matched sets. Piecemeal buying of unmatched memory is a bad idea.
