It's actually illegal in a lot of counties for a product two have two price points on the same trading day. Valve's new day start is 6pm BST/10am PST yet yesterday the game was £33 and £40 which is not only against the law in some regions but is bad retail practice in general. The fact they also did this on a peak shopping period (Saturday) rather than the designated new week (Monday) is also shady as ♥♥♥♥.

The game could easily be bumped up to £49.99 next week. If Valve weren't complicit in authorising this behaviour, I'd report the game but it's just a waste of time especially when there's money on the line.

Yeah, poor Sony, there is no other publishers on Steam that sell their games for an adequate price! Oh, wait...

£32.99 did feel like a mistake value, rather a strange number, I nearly bought it, now I feel cheated, think it's a pass for me until it's half price now..
Dirty move by a spunkbucket publisher.
Have you ever thought they were trying to correct the region prices so its similar to the default (which is usually USD $50) i have not read all 5 pages but I can see for some people the price went down, if anyone in America can confirm/deny if there price has changed it should clear some stuff up.

when i bought it it was on 18 usd now it is on 40usd which is still cheaper than 50usd and when i go it which was as soon as i got the notification i would even bought it for 50 usdm, though in that price i would had to wait for a bit to get it

This does not make sense. What you described is not a "correction", it's basically a rejection of regional pricing. So that can't be an excuse. Anyone who tries to do that are either delusional or misinformed. What they had originally was much closer to proper regional pricing, and now it's messed up in many regions.

That person clearly has no idea about economics, so don't even try to argue with bigots like that.

I'm not going to spit my dummy out over £7, £40 is a reasonable price, and £7 is F all in UK, can't even buy a pack of smokes or a couple of pints where I live for £7

If these publishers can afford to sell these games so cheaply in the poorer countries, then why does the west have to pay full price? Is the west subsidising the cost for the poorer nations?

The new steam price in my region is about 2.5 times the old price. The new price is however about 150% the price of the Epic store price for my region. I'm sure a lot of thought went into this decision :|
