What's so special about this Far Cry clone?

To be specific it seems like it's just Far Cry Primal in a different environment. Or is there more to it that I didn't see from the gameplay videos?

So the game looks at least 10 times better, has an actual proper story, branching conversations, great mechanics, great combat, beautiful world. Yeah, far cry primal is a joke compared tbh.

And btw, primal takes place a few 1000 years ago. this game takes place a few 1000 years from now.

Ok so there's massive sort of boss fights, but the core gameplay is still the same.

Like I said... Far Cry in a different environment.

And what are those different game mechanics / combat mechanics suppose to be? You primarily use a bow and a melee weapon (which you just spam anyway).

Those early prototypes look kinda fake to me... Buy I may be wrong of course...

keeping any spoilers to a minimum, was it ever ACTUALLY comfimed, in game or otherwise, how far in the future the game happened? i dont remember it ever being more than a ballpark based on ........that

Why is it that everyone who dares ask questions about this game on this forum is immediately called a troll by several adamant fans of the game? Do they even know what a troll and to troll means? Are questions about this game not allowed in their minds, but only praise instead? I've never seen such a poisonous community on Steam and that's saying A LOT!

The OP came in with a snarky remark. If this isn't a troll then they need to learn how to communicate. This post seems like it was created purely to rile people up. Please explain to me how, "What's so special about this Far Cry clone?" is the appropriate way to ask a question. The OP started off by insulting the game (and anytime someone says a game is just a clone of another game it is 100% intended as an insult, not a compliment). That's a classic troll move.
