Even though I simply would play my already 3 playthrough strong savegame further. XD
no, it'll never be possible. they are different formats to PC saves and tied to your PS account
Not sure encrypted is the correct term here, they are locked to your PS4s account and cannot be moved between accounts but they are not really encrypted. Your point is still correct though.
I believe smart people have been looking into removing the account lock from saves for a while but its not happened yet.
Edit - OK I was wrong, it happened for RDR2.
Hmm, interesting. Gotta admit I stopped following the PS4 modding scene back when it became obvious the people holding all the keys to he vaults had no intention of doing anything with them except for teasing everyone else about what they had and we didn't.
That's pretty cool to find out. Not something I'd do but still interesting. Usually if I double dip on games from console to PC it's because I want to experience the whole story again and it's been long enough for me to forget most of it.
Just an impact of 200 hrs gameplay to reach the point of where I am.
Yet that game derves it. ^^
Even though I am currently busy with modding some other game, so I doubt I will find the time to even try it out.
Yet I am at least downloading it. ^^
There will be a NG+ in the pc version but im not sure if its compatible with the console saves.
I've converted saves for other games to PC in the past (FFX for one). It relied on third parties to create tools to decrypt and convert, but saying "never" possible is wrong. The same tools may work perfectly out of the box, but we won't know till we can test.
