Tbh I'd gladly double dip. It is an amazing game!
Firstly I hope it runs really well on PC too, because I am telling everyone this game is a technological marvel XD I still can't believe how it looks and runs on regular PS4, the one ppl consider a potato.
It's possible on steam too. GOG is nothing special in any regards. There was once a way for PlayStation users to login to steam.

GOG has a growing list of other games that are not made by CDPR. That's a huge difference.
GOG has some games for GOG Connect but they still are from the same platform.
Don't confuse PC-PC (GOG, Steam etc.) and PC-console (XBOX Live).
