Genius marketing strategy by Sony.

Give PC gamers a little taste of what they're missing out on. A lot of them are still oblivious to highly rated video games. Horizon is now the best looking game on PC, but it's not even the best looking PS4 game. Porting a game with a cliffhanger before announcing the PS5 superior sequel will boost PS5 sales greatly. Nintendo did the same with Bayonetta. They are crying about not having Bayo 2 and 3 to this day, even though Nintendo is the only reason PlatinumGames didn't go bankrupt.

PS5 is almost here with TRUE next-gen exclusives. PC is going to need 2 years to catch up to the PS5 graphically. Most of the upcoming multiplats will be cross-gen while the PS5 will be getting TRUE next-gen exclusives with proper optimization. Every Horizon purchase on Steam is only funding more future exclusivity.

I won't buy console, my budget dedicated for upgrading my PC. but I do believe some of other PC gamer might buy PS5.

dude your gloating, stop it, we don't care how good the game looks, and you can make anything look good on pc,especially when modding comes into play, you just have to not have a potato for a computer. if your personal choice is Playstation, great, good for you, you don't have to justify it to the whole world.

It an old game so why not from SONY. Time have change money is harder to make off the working poor. Sony know only the working poor plays games. Rich people never play games at all.

Nintendo didn't do the same with Bayonetta. Nintendo has nothing to say with the first one. The ports of Bayonetta was Sega's decision to 100 %. While Nintendo and Platinum Games split the rights of the IP, Sega still has the publishing rights to the first game and doesn't even need the permission to port it.

You aren't a platinum games fan if you don't have a Switch. You need it for Astral Chain and probably many more upcoming exclusives. If not for Nintendo, Platinum wouldn't exist after all. Or they would have been purchased by Activision to make more Korra games lmfao.

I love all three mentioned games, finished all of them too, but no, Spiderman doesn't look better than HZD, GOW is somewhat as good but the grim world can be depressing sometimes.

I've platinumed HZD on PS4, will platinum it again here on PC if the port is good, and will probably finish my NG+ on PS5 if it's backward compatible and boosts performance, unless I finished the NG+ first on PC, or if HZD2 is already out on PS5.

PC gamers will be buying PS5s to play Horizon Zero Dawn 2. There are still some pc gamers who prefer early access/dying competitive games instead of masterpieces lol.
