Weapons?

Will there be pistols and rifles? I read you can avoid bandits. I would like to shoot them myself rather than hide though. Or get into a duel even.

If there is indeed pistols, will there be customization? Simlar to Tuco assembling a pistol from multiple guns in The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.




Also some friendly advice, you might want to have an English speaking person go over the grammar on your store page.

Hi YamaKami , thanks for advice we will fix grammar. Back to Your question,
pistols and rifles will be available in the game, still Player can decide what path he chose. It could be duel or special sneaky methods. Gun customization is not planned for now.

We want Cowboy Life Simulator to be community-driven game and we happily get ideas that will extend gameplay. We will gather all proposals and when a community grows we will announce voting. I would assume some game mechanics to pair with it would alter gun stats. Like longer barrel for better accuracy and range. Shorter one for faster drawing in a duel. Different cylinders could be 5 or 6 shot, or increase rate of fire even. Perhaps the stock or handle would also decrease kick. Reload time is another one that could be used. Similarly so with rifle barrel lengths, various stocks, or sights even. Shooting IMO is a very integral part of any Cowboy game, that should be emphasized in some ways.

To add; most common ammo back in those days were, .40 cal. so, that being said, most pistols were .40 cal. too.

Yes, 100% to guns we need them as most cowboys all carried guns be a revolver or rifle

Along those lines, shotguns are not typically used to hunt deer. Due to the chest bug(upgrading the chest to a safe caused the shotgun ammo I had put in there to disappear) I decided to use the rifle instead of the shotgun to kill the deer. The deer was not even affected by 4 rifle shots, and ran me through. This needs to be fixed.
