Iron Brigade

System Error, MSVCR100.dll was not found; FIXED also solves steam launch issue.
If anyone is having this issue when trying to start the game I've found a couple of fixes that should help solve this issue.

First: open the local game files either by manually looking for it through your C folder, or by right clicking on the game icon in steam, then open properties and click on local files. Once you've got the local files opened up find the folder marked Redist, then run the vcredist.exe application and let it install. If this method doesn't work, read second option.

Second: If the first option didn't work then use the search option shortcut will be crtl+f. Once in search mode type in msvcr100.dll the system will find the file in another game folder, once you've found the file copy it and then past it into the Iron Brigade folder. This method should work just fine it worked on my system.

If your having trouble trying to find the game folder you can type in the following at the top of the window.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ironbrigade

If you need a road map follow these steps

1: open a file folder typically file explore should be pinned on the task bar which looks like a folder.
2: once file explore is open click on your C drive.
3: after clicking on the C drive find and click on program files (x86).
4: once program files (86) is open search for and click on steam.
5: with steam open find a folder called steamapps and open it.
6: once steamapps is open open up the folder marked common
7: once common is open all you've gotta do is find the Iron Brigade folder.

If you've followed the steps correctly you should be able to get your copy of Iron Brigade to work through steam. I was able to get it working using the second step I mentioned before.

If you need more help just contact me through steam.

death99demon, I tried both steps but neither worked... i recieved the following error message:
is either not intended to run under windows or contains an error. Reinstall the program using the original installation media, or contact the system administrator or software provider for assistance. Error status......

Any help is greatly appreciated as i just got a new PC and this is the first game I downloaded so far. Dont want to have to break out my old setup :(

I'm sorry I didn't notice your message till now I've been rather busy.
My first question for you is if you've found either vcredist.exe application or the msvcr100.dll file.
Like I said through the second option you'll have to copy the msvcr100.dll file from a different game folder past it into the Iron Brigade game folder

I tried both of these but it didn't work. I was able to get it to run with perhaps a similar method... I have a new PC and the first game downloaded was Iron Brigade. After downloading elder scrolls online, Iron brigade just started working. I had to reinstall windows and wipe everything clean and did the process again, downloaded Iron Brigade with same issues and it resolved as soon as I installed ESO. Thanks for your help in any case!

have you tried downloading ESO? i believe it has something to do with a similar driver that wasn't updating on my PC with the normal Iron Brigade download but was good on the ESO download.

and back for help.
friend bought it on sale and started it with zero problems, so now I feel like a clown.
also i no longer have msvcr100.dll, and no other "game" has it, but there was one is 2 system folders. zero luck copying either.

I tried the two options in the original post. I don't play Elder Scrolls Online so I can't try installing it. Any chance someone has figured out what the actual issue is? Feels like a Microsoft update broke a .dll or something.
