No Sounds on Win 10 PC
After installing it on my PC I get sound during the first run/opening cinematic "The enemy crushed my legs..." But I get absolutely nothing after that cutscene runs, whether or not I cut the cinematic short or let it run the full length.

No menu sounds, No UI sounds, No Enemy sounds, No music, No weapon fire sounds. Literally zero sounds play for me.

My specs:
Alienware 15 R3
Windows 10 Home
Intel i7 7700HQ
GTX 1070 w/8GB VRam
16GB DDR4 Ram
running the OS off a Samsung 960 evo nvme SSD
running my games library off of a Samsung 940 evo sata SSD
The display is a 60 hrz G-sync panel

Things I have tried already:

Installing the redistributables manually from the games directories
Verifying game files through steam
Disabling and Enabling my speakers/headphones through windows sound settings
Using a headset
Disabling fullscreen
Turning on/off Vsync
Turning on/off Vsync in Nvidia control panel for Iron Brigade
Unplugging ALL peripherals, including mouse, and just using trackpad
Disabling Steam Overlay for Iron Brigade
Disabling Nvidia Overlay for Iron Brigade (no other overlays running)
Running Iron Brigade in Admin mode
Running IB in Compatibility mode for windows 7 and then for 8
Running IB in Compatibility mode disabling fullscreen optimizations
Launching IB directly from the folder instead of from Steam
Changing windows Sound settings to various bit rates and bit depths and trying all variations on the Exclusive Mode tick boxes
Disabling G-Sync in general

Any help would be appreciated, I really loved this game on my Xbox, and would love to play it again online where there's still a few players on PC apparently. I don't want to have to refund it, I want it to work for me =(

Please save me!

welp, I'm embarassed. I figured my new computer would be up to date on it's drivers. Nvidia constantly checks for itself, but I figured Windows would update the sound drivers and such... Nope. Device manager, update sound drivers was all I needed.
