Costume ability use for Master of Disguise warning

So I was trying to get the Master of Disguise achivment, but after I had used the Pirate, Eyeball and Yeti costume abilitys in "Grubbins on ice" I did not get the achivment.

Took a look at my costume list and discovered that I never used the cat costume. I used the Cat costume special ability but the game did not registrate me doing that for the achivment.

What I had to do was simple: just started up the main game "Costume Quest" and used the Cat costume there. Had to fight the final boss because no monsters respawned.

So to get the Master of Disguise achivment you seem to need to use the 10 costume special abilitys of the main game in the main game + getting the Grubbin costume (which you can not use i battle) and the 3 GOI costume special abilitys in GOI. Otherwise the game will not registrate it for the achivment.

Side Note: The achievement was added to the Xbox 360 version in the initial version, pre-DLC. As such, you only need to use all of the abilities from the base game, pre-GOI. Not really clear on the PC version, as the DLC is included.

now I'm stuck with this achievement, and beside the Christmas one, it's the only one I'm missing right now :(( I think it's bugged, as I have used all of the costumes abilities more than once but still it did not count for me... anyone had same issue and solved it? I tried what Bolvar advised but for me it's still not working.. help please

Thanks so much for clarifying! I was confused why it wouldn't give me the achievement. They didn't do a good job clarifying which achievements were for the main game and which were for the DLC.

SIDE NOTE: I found you do not need to complete the battle to get the achievement, so if you've defeated every enemy then just fight big bones, use the abilities you haven't used, then feel free to quit once you get it.
