Hold and Toggle Crouch as separate bindings
This is just a simple QoL I hope gets added as it would make stealth much more bearable for me and my carpal tunnel prone hands.

This is a feature that I'm mostly familiar with being in the Metro series and I think all stealth games should have it. In my original playthrough of gloomwood I found myself changing the crouch behavior constantly because hold to crouch is a good convenience for stealth but it often screws me over if I use it mid combat. I died a few times as a result.

In Metro I can press a separate button from ctrl (usually X I think) and forget about it for a bit while creeping. Amazing for the pinkie. But if I suddenly get caught I can simply either press X again or press ctrl and it will overwrite the toggle and stand me up just after and then I'm ready to run and maybe use crouch again for something.

Without this getting added I feel forced to use hold crouch as it gives me "more control" over when I'm crouched at the downside of getting a tad painful after long sessions. In Hunt: Showdown (a game I recently picked up cuz Dillon made it sound cool and it was the perfect game to ride off my interest in this one) the other day I actually had a huge painful carpal tunnel "attack" where my left hand was basically unusable for the better part of an hour.

Thank you for coming to my Ted talk.

Yeah, separate bindings for crouch and crouch toggle definitely sounds reasonable. I've also wanted to add separate bindings for jump, mantle and jump + mantle, too.
