Research Update Predictions
I wonder what research will do, I've got a list of ideas, let me know which ones yall think are most likely or if you have any I didn't think of.

1. Consumable Buffs Maybe we'll be able to craft special one-time-use syringes that for example, turn you into a powerful monster capable of taking on groups of enemies for a short time, or just make you run really fast for a bit.
2. Player Upgrades This one could be really fricken cool, like if you could use research to make mutate yourself into moving faster, jumping higher, or hitting harder- but the downside is that you're literally becoming a mutated abomination in return.
3. Eldritch Abilities This one would be weird, I've heard people say powers wouldn't fit in this game and I'm inclined to agree, depending on how they're handled they could break the game wide open. But... If they were handled correctly and made super situational (which would take some serious creativity to not make it feel weird) it could be really cool.
4. Disguises like some weird mutations that make you blend in to a given type of enemies.

The description of this video reads: "But beware, for something lurks deep within the doctor, and it yearns to claw free."

Which leads me to believe it's more likely to be 2 or 3. I'm super excited regardless.

I mean, it seems like consumable effects. I’d look at Dishonored’s bone charms for ideas of what they’ll probably do.
