In case anyone who is continuing from a save before the Power Station update is still having problems after having done so, I've had to create a new save then load that save and the dialog for the key with the merchant triggered.

Press ~ and type "noclip" if you want to get there. I realy hope there will be some other way to get this key except getting it from Grezzo, but after we get to him.
Also, I noticed that the key probably spawning at his desk, but immediatley disappearing after a second. PLS fix it somehow, I really not in a mood of getting through the entire game today :'(

GUYS, LISTEN HERE
Get to Grezzo's Shop level, tap ~, then write down "restart" - this command restarts current level.
Then you will appear at some kind of blue heaven - seems like it is a Zero Coordinate or something, anyway, you don't care, you tap "Esc" and then select to Load your latest save, it should be at Grezzo's Shop gramophone. After you load you get down and key appears. I pray if the dev sees it and makes this text shown somewhere everybody will be possible to see it, even despite my clumpsy english ;3

I'm having the same problem, but I already had the conversation with the countess months ago. I can't even get the console command to give or spawn the entrance key -- I can make it work to give me back the monocle that despawned after one of the patches, but it says it "could not determine value or item named key_underport_entrance" or says "could not spawn item_snowball as it is not allowed" and spawns the Dillon reaction thing.

I don't know if the wiki is just wrong and that's not the key id or what.

I am not starting this entire game over for this, I am either getting this key or uninstalling.

What worked for me was simply saving in Grezzo's shop at the phonograph, loading that save and when I walked downstairs Grezzo started his dialog about the underport und forked over the key.

i think i tolked with Countess (teleports are available and in Mirror realm i can find mirror to Van Der Meer house, but it is disabled)
but i havent key to Underport
did try to start new game and thel load my save - no result
did try to type "restart" in console - level is loaded near the Gramophone and i hear just "what are you selling?"

If you want to go the underport right now without completing the market district first, copy & paste this into the console to get the key to the Underport:

give item_key_standard keyid:underport_entrance

It's been a while since I played that part but you speak with the countess through a mirror at least twice - If the mirror to the Van der Meer managers office is not active you couldn't have had the conversation with the countess in the attic of the merchants shop which leads to Grezzo the Merchant handing you the key.

You need to turn off the power first so you can enter the office in Van der Meer shipping and in there find the hidden entrance that leads to the mirror.

Edited because that's in the Underport and part of how you get into the hive.
