Do that, my kind sir, and I'll pick this up. I always prefer controller over kb+m since I've got wrist issues but recently i suffered an accident and i can't use my left arm 100% now, so controller is the best way for me to experience any game. I'll put this game on my wishlist now. Thank you for the info
Look at the steam controller configuration list (the controller button on your game's page). There are community uploaded controller configurations that add unofficial support (I made one myself that I personally use) using steam's configuration ability to map kb+mouse commands. You can even do reasonably complex stuff. For example, my configuration makes x your interact button, but holding it holsters your weapon (like dishonored). I also added a modeshift where holding lb converts your left and right movement into leaning (also like dishonored). Check it out!
