Controller Support anytime soon??
I have bought this game and it has just been sitting in my library for a few months now, just begging me to play it and i just can't, no controller support, still happy with my purchase and i refuse to get a refund because ive grown to love this company over this past year and want to play it asap but dear god i need controller support so bad, id literally pay for the whole game again for it. I really wish it was higher priority.

We're working on it! In terms of user features, we just finished up subtitle support and will be rolling that out with the next update, and then we're onto finishing the controller support.

Do that, my kind sir, and I'll pick this up. I always prefer controller over kb+m since I've got wrist issues but recently i suffered an accident and i can't use my left arm 100% now, so controller is the best way for me to experience any game. I'll put this game on my wishlist now. Thank you for the info

Copying a response I made earlier:

Look at the steam controller configuration list (the controller button on your game's page). There are community uploaded controller configurations that add unofficial support (I made one myself that I personally use) using steam's configuration ability to map kb+mouse commands. You can even do reasonably complex stuff. For example, my configuration makes x your interact button, but holding it holsters your weapon (like dishonored). I also added a modeshift where holding lb converts your left and right movement into leaning (also like dishonored). Check it out!

I don't think it's that they're afraid of it, the menu just states controller support is coming, it's just natural to be curious. As for any legit reasons to want a controller, in a game like this control over movement speed is the key to success, which is done more precise with an analogue stick than a keyboard.

its also just really inconvenient for anyone not playing at a desk. and arguably not necessary for this game at all. Id have p-ranked the whole game in a few days if i could change the controls but damn man whomever set this ♥♥♥♥ up just hates being able to move jump aim and shoot at the sametime. also if you're on kbam you can use the red arm without swapping. pad players need that the most.
