Thank for you guys explanations, although I'm still not sure why only this particular set of codes makes the safe explode.
interesting.
The people from New Blood has made a joke with it. Due to everybody awaits to open some safe or some door in an easy way using this specific code... what you get is "not opening a thing".
A similar joke was made in Heretic, related to classic Doom games. In Doom you can type determined sequences of keys, in order to get specific advantages... if you type those same sequences of keys in Heretic, you'll get analogous disavantages.
Two examples:
-Typing 'IDDQD' in Doom you enter in God Mode. In Heretic, typing 'IDDQD' will kill you instantly.
-Typing 'IDKFA' in Doom you automatically get all available weapons and get all ammo that you can carry for all of them. Typing 'IDKFA' in Heretic will make to take all weapons and ammo away from you (except the staff).
All in all: they are just jokes that are "caught" by people knowing something of another earlier game.
Ah, that's why, it does sound like a joke they'd will make.
Thanks for answering my question.
Sounds great, I'm curious what is the reason behind this.
