Ethnicities of Omori characters? Just curious

I know Sunny and Mari are Asiain, could tell because by their racial characteristics Could Basil be Caucasian? Aubrey is more interesting and a bit difficult to tell because her skin tone got more tan as we know her now (due to her being outside a lot?), when she was a kid she was pale white. Looking at Aubrey now, Im thinking is she Asian too? Maybe Korean? I think she has Asian characteristics

Im thinking Kel and Hero are Latino in origin? either way, i think Omocat did a interesting good way diversifying the artsytle in the character design in art direction.

I figured Sunny and Mari were Japanese due to the 'hikikomori' reference in Omori's name, and I always imagined Basil was English since it's a somewhat common name there. But as for the rest, not a clue.

Yeah, its kinda hard to tell, since we dont know Basil's and Aubrey's full family history If an Omori anime happens, im hoping the anime will dive deeper in the characters backstories than how the game did. idk about the manga
