Questions about hangman

I already did one playthrough of the normal route and got the good, bad, and two neutral endings. I finished the hangman thing and I'm curious what would happen if you didn't finish the hangman, didn't get any keys, or if you got too many wrong ones and lost

you can only get too many wrong ones if you play hikkikomori route (look up "hikkikomori route abyss entrance" to see this) and the game will flash mari, then someting, then crash and let you in the abyss. you cannot progress through the game at the beginning if you dont get the key there, same as for every part of the main routes. hope that helps

You have to finish Hangman to get into Black Space, You can get all the letters in the game in the Hikkikomori path, and while you can skip some keys in Black Space, all that functionally does is locks the extra part of the good end even if you've been taking care of the flowers.

to be more specific, you don't lose the hangman until you get the whole alphabet so you will always complete the hangman before losing it
