OMORI
Request for OMORI on Epic Games Store
Dear OMOCAT Team,

First of all, thank you for creating OMORI! The game’s story and art style are truly impressive, and it has provided an unforgettable experience for many players, including myself.

I wanted to reach out with a suggestion. OMORI is amazing to have on Steam and other platforms, but I was wondering if there are any plans to bring it to Epic Games Store as well. Many players would love to see the game available there, and releasing it on Epic could help it reach an even wider audience.

I’d love to hear if this is something you are considering. Thank you for your time, and I look forward to your future projects!

Best regards,
[Yahya]

I hope they release it on more platforms. The switch version is probably one of my favorites so far.

You’re right, I’ve heard great things about the Switch version too. Hopefully, it comes to Epic Games as well to reach more players!

It would be nice but they probably won't, epic doesn't have any games that uses the rpgmaker softwares, except the rpgmaker unite but it was added like a month ago. Also, most of the games in epic don't have the achievements that steam does, and that would be a down since people mostly still play omori to get them after completing the routes.

Yes, I know that Epic Games hasn’t added many RPG Maker games so far, but I heard that they recently added RPG Maker Unite. This could open the door for more RPG Maker games in the future. Steam achievements are important, but I think making Omori available to more players is more valuable than missing a few features. Still, we can’t say for sure—hopefully, the developers will consider this option.
Why would you care if they released it on Epic?

Steam's dollar exchange rate is very high in my country, which makes games much more expensive. On the other hand, Epic Games often offers local pricing or even free games, making it a more affordable option for many players.

The "console border" mod on gamebanana adds the Switch content so you don't need to shell out an extra $30 to play it.

Steam has better features and community support, but Epic's local pricing makes it a great option for many players.

Bro, I don’t know where the fck you live, but here we’re broke as fck. Everyone already knows Steam is great — you’re not some fcking prophet for saying that. The fcking regional pricing is bllshit. A $1 game turns into fcking $20 here. I don’t have that kind of money to waste on a game. That’s why I’ll crack Omori or get it from Epic if it’s cheaper. End of story. I said it’s expensive, and all you had to say was “Steam is better” — no sht, genius. That’s the whole fcking problem. Try using your brain before talking next time.

Sadly, it seems Team OMO has been money hungry right from the get go...
