OMORI
Please give it a rating!
....else it will soon be removed or blocked for the Brazilian and German Fans of this Game too, before they even have a chance to purchase it from you!

German user here! According to what I've read giving a rating should be just filling out a questionnaire by the developer.

It would really be a huge loss if this game became delisted.
Do you mean an age rating, like ESRB or PEGI?
If so, I'm pretty sure it already has a rating for the physical versions, that being M17+ in the States (or PEGI 18 in Europe)

Yes exactly, the German one is USK by the way and special in that merit its tied to a child protection Law. That´s why to us this is not an option but a must to have a Game being sold.

So Omori and thousands of unrated Games will vanish for me and other German also Brazilian users here if Games are not getting an USK rating as well by that date. (Actually in Case of Omori its USK 16 here, not 18 BTW, bevause the Rating is far less strict in many things in comparion to the ESBR one, a lot of US rate bare skin way stricter, we rate games 18 if the violence or gore level is high).

So you see there is a lot of diffrences between ESBR, PEGi and USK there, but the most important one is that no USK means a Game cannot be sold here and Valve will have to block it if wanting to avoid paying a hefty fine. Because it defys the Child Protection Law here if Games of improper contents are sold to minors.
Here the link to Nintendos rating for it(where i bought it): https://www.nintendo.com/de-de/Spiele/Nintendo-Switch-Spiele/OMORI-2090487.html

You see the Game got an USK 16 Rating here already, so i hope the DEVs will not let it get dropped here. So we might have to buy it on other consoles who do ratings by design might be our only choice for many titles soon.

I see...quite an interesting situation.
If there's any way to directly contact the developers, I highly recommend finding a way if you haven't done so already. (I am not knowledgeable)
Hope it gets a rating so players won't miss out on this truly great game!

That´s what i´m trying here. To hopefully spread awareness us German or Brazilian customers haven´t lost our interest in these Games but rahter will be cut off soon.
Coming back to this, there was another Steam forum post about this, and someone else suggested emailing Omocat's business email. (That being omocat@omocat.com) It was taken from the official Omocat website, so I would recommend doing so if you haven't already.

Probably a good idea to start spreading knowledge of how to use a proxy service around, too. Despotic governments like Germany are just going to keep getting worse.

Look into it before you lose access to more and more art and information.

kind of OT i guess but i'm not really convinced that this game deserves a 17+ rating... there's not really any mature content except for heavy themes, but like. lion king has heavy themes too.

The Survey seems to go with ESBR base, on the German Nintendo Eshop it’s sold as USK 12. Actually our rating system is different from their Ratings. I have seen this with a few more Games. So this blue seal comes from Steam themselves, while the colorful ones are our Ratings.
