Plus it has some really good (if creepy) random battle music.

Yep, that's the game that both made me laugh, and broke my heart.

I'll mention the Hello Charlotte series; seems like it's still mostly a hidden gem. I'm amused seeing the trailer for Ep3 and seeing some of the same aesthetic effects as OMORI... Anyway, it's a compelling tale that'll keep you guessing... Don't think there was much gameplay, mostly along the lines of just exploring and interacting... Plenty of brain scratching lore, horror elements, and nice art. Some gorey scenes. Mostly blurred out I think.
There are several parts and each Episode shows growth with the creator. But all offer important elements to the story, so best not skip ahead...
Good news, Ep1 is free (a bit more simple than the others). The full ep1 game can be downloaded as a "demo" for Hello Charlotte Ep2, or from itch.io:

Then there's also a short free spin-off to play after finishing Ep2 on itch.io, might not be necessary...? Honestly not sure if I discovered it after Ep3 or Ep2:

And finally Ep3 and the optional post DLC alternate kinetic novel are here:

...If you play them, hope you are enjoy it as much as I did!
As for other games; you've likely played Undertale if you've played OMORI. But, if not, go go go
Oh and I might mention Yuppie Psycho. A bit different from the others, an adventure horror game with emphasis on gameplay elements, but has that surreal, otherworldly take on a modern setting. Good music as well...

Ah... and I need to play Lisa sometime. I wasn't hooked when I initially tried it and forgot about it. Also need to get Jimmy and the Pulsing Mass so I can see what the fuss is about!
...Summer sale can't come soon enough :D
Though, yes. I would absolutely recommend giving Lisa another shot. It starts out kinda slow, but leads to some really strange places, and I remember by the end of it I felt emotionally devastated but glad that I played it. I realize though it isn't for everyone as the gameplay itself can be pretty unforgiving, and the plotline can be a bit brutal, but I feel like the kind of people who like Omori would find certain parts pretty interesting.

IS ALMOST THE SAME AS OMORI
OXENFREE GOT THAT VERY UNIQUE & MEMORABLE ARTSTYLE WITH PHOTOS, GLITCHY SCARY COOL LOOKING ANOMALIES AND COLLECTING LETTERS (BUT NOT THE KEYBOARD - REAL PAPER ONES), SO GET OUT OF YOUR HIKKIKOMORI ROUTE AND EXPLORE THE REAL FOGGY ISLAND.
THERE ARE ALSO DEAD (OR ALIVE) FAMILY MEMBERS, TEENAGERS, MISTERIOUS MIRRORS & GREAT BEACH EPISODE IN THE PAST. + A LOT OF ENDINGS.
OH AND YOU CAN ALSO KEEP CHANGING YOUR FUTURE, PAST OR THAT DUMB THING IN BETWEEN BY TUNING IN THE RIGHT CHANNELS IN YOUR RADIO.
(BUT CAN YOU ACTUALLY?)
IT HAS A LOT OF REPLAYABILITY, CHOICES, AMAZING SOUNDS AND THE DEEPEST PLOTLINE EVER. ALEX IS NOT SILENT PROTAGONIST THO, THAT HOT BABE IS ALL THE TALK.
10 OUT OF 10.
