endless loading screen when riding the train?

so i tried riding the train after chapter 2 and now again after i beat the whale boss. but everytime i go into the train the screen gets black after a while and then i have an infinite loading screen. is this supposed to happen or is there a fix for it?

Same issue here! I also have not saved in a while :( What causes this?

Edit: After reloading an earlier save and redoing everything, the loading screen worked. Please SAVE before attempting to board the train!
