Is Omori Worth it?
Should I buy Omori? I am debating on whether or not I want to, I hear it's a good story, but I am kind of concerned because I feel like it's going to be a whole meme game and not exactly serious.

It's the opposite of a meme game. Don't let the community of a game define the game itself. The plot is super interesting and thought provoking and will likely leave an impression on you for months after, as it did for me and many others. The characters, gameplay and story for this game are all top notch, so yes absolutely buy it.

Don't be fooled by its lighthearted and cute appearance... this game has a very serious story and emotions running through it. It is an excellent value considering that there are two distinct paths with multiple endings. Yes, this game is worth it and it should have been at least nominated for one of more categories for the Steam awards. As far as I am concerned, this game is a masterpiece of art.

It is far from a meme game. There are memes in the game, meme-able parts of the game, and a living meme (kel), but the game itself is not one. It is the perfect balance of humor, horror, and pure imagination. It's one hell of a ride and worth so much more than what it's priced at; believe me.

despite the stuff the fandom posts, omori is so far from a "meme" game. when it says psychological horror it means it, and you'll be in for a very intense and thought provoking story if you buy. there are some fantasy bits that might seem goofy at first glance, but thats only because they have really concerning undertones.
