OST... that's a tough one.
Glade I would say
Favorite song from the track is Lost Library
Followed closely by Kel for pretty much the same reason.
Favorite OST:
World's End Valentine for bosses
Forest Frenzy for Random Encounters
I like Kel because I can relate to him a lot, but he also feels super unique and special. He always seems willing to try something new, is there to help others in their time of need, and is playful and exciting. He shows a side of positivity not too often seen in this dark game, and if not for him, the game wouldn't have happened. I see many stage of grief comparisons, and Kel is always seen as the one character who acts as representation for acceptance. IF you think about it, he shows that in multiple ways. 1. The incident. 2. The chapter "3 Days Left", where you pull out the knife and attack, most people wouldn't trust you afterwards, thinking you planned to attack them, but Kel assesses the situation, takes the knife, and still trusts you.
I like Sunny as he shows a unique side to the "quiet, undisturbed, silent protagonist" trope. He does talk (rarely), shows many emotions, mainly fear, and we see enough to genuinely understand what caused his actions. I don't often see love for Sunny, but he is a well written protagonist. His actions don't deserve to be excused, but they had questionable reason, and were mostly the cause of a bad accident, leading to shared trauma.
For my favorite songs in the OST, I'd have to choose Duet, My Time and Hanging with the Boys. I love Duet for the strong feelings it employs with only two instruments, along with the visuals. Due to how I saw the song on my first listen, it has been forever shaped. When I saw the water scene in the game in song, I know think of a deep ocean any time I hear the song. The first part makes me think of trial and error, with no ending, only a loop[, until the grand part makes a feel of Giant Success and progression.
My Time is another favorite due to the emotions. The rapid changes in speed make me thing of a person snapping, but acting like they are fine, and during the chorus, they feel free to express themselves.
I just like Hanging With the Boys for the vibes to be honest, no extra long meaning, you guys read too much from me. Sorry for the essay.
That was truly an interesting read. Very sweet indeed!
Probably Omori, I know that uhh well he's not the greatest with the elevator thing... and many others but the character fascinates me so much, it bewilders me that it was written so well.
