When i go in to the game and press continue my save isnt there, its just blank. i restarted the game and even my computer and it wont show up

should i try reinstalling the game or will that remove my data?

Rename your save to something outside of the game's reach like file7 just for extra safety, then make a new save in-game in slot 1 and while the game's still running, delete it, rename file7 back to file1, then you might be able to reload slot 1 unless it's completely broken for sure, in that case you'll just have to start over.

I keep worrying that I'm not explaining this clearly enough.

Also, this does not matter if your save is 100% dead, but RPG-Maker games never ever cloud.

Also, this does not matter if your save is 100% dead, but RPG-Maker games never ever cloud.

dw you explained it super well, it just tells me that the file was changed or corrupted when i try it
