Question about the Rare Bear dungeon
Is there anything in that dungeon that's worth getting, or should I just leave the rare bears alone in there to do whatever a bunch of angry bears like to do in a room together? Part of me wants to just walk past this dungeon but the completionist part of me is worried there's some achievement, or cool item I might be able to get if I go in there that I can't get otherwise, or maybe some kind of quest item like the teddy bear I've been looking for.

So without any main game spoilers, is there any reason for me to open up the Rare Bear dungeon or is it just a waste of time? I need to know if there's something in there actually worth fighting ten of those things in a row for.

There is a secret area there but it's not required for any achievement. Don't go there if you want to fight all the Rare Bears again lol

Sweetheart's Castle is basically an overabundance of secret areas :P

It's not worth. Doesn't unlock any achievements and you can easily beat the game without going there. You're only going to get a few healing items that you can buy later on, a toy, and an equip for Kel that increases his speed when there's more energy which is stupid cuz he's already fast

Really? I only found a few. I noticed every time I ate cake I got teleported to a secret place, found a different one after walking through a wall where there was some sort of spooky creature in there that said I could own the castle later in the game (which I'm assuming might happen soon since I just got past the part where she gets eaten by the whale for not having money), then the Rarebear dungeon, and an area that had an artist who wanted me to pay massive clams for some paintings and that was pretty much it. Are there some other secrets I missed? I'd like to go back and find them if there is.

I kept feeling like there was something going on with me being able to change the Sweetheart statues into different positions but never figured out if there was some pattern that caused a secret opening to appear or something.

If you spam the telescope, it'll teleport you somewhere eventually. There's a hidden area in the Rarebear dungeon, you can go to it by interacting with a messed up brick. Spamming the vines also brings you somewhere eventually, but it doesn't take half as long. Also, I'm pretty sure if you mess with a vent near that weird creature guy, it also takes you somewhere.

As for the Sweetheart statues, there's no "secret code" or anything, the game just lets you mess with them.

Edit: typo

Btw, about that weird creature, you can only own the castle in a specific route. If you opened the door to Kel, you won't be able to do it. It's not even worth it anyway, all you get is an achievement and then it gets rid of Sweetheart's Castle.

AH yeah, I opened the door every day so far. I am considering playing the game a second time without going outside since I hear that's a whole different route but for now I'm not worried about it.

Oh that's a lot of neat things to try out now, thanks.

If I'm not mistaken you can always run from the bears so that would make it somewhat easier

I actually did end up fighting the bears again when I did the other route. This time it was super easy though as I was prepared

Nah, that doesn't work cause they corner you right away and you can't walk through them so they basically free you for a few seconds while you're trapped in place from being surrounded by bears, then it's back to getting attacked. Basically, if you don't plan on fighting them don't open the gates.

The rare bear room doesn't have any achievement attached to it, it can be beaten for around 6500 exp, but the watermelons aren't really worth it, but you can beat it by using kel to make a high damaging party member (i chose omori) and defeat them with 1 hp on every rare bear.

Why would you necro my nearly 3 year old thread to answer something that I answered myself first comment and other people answered as well?
