how can i get a lot of clams and money?

i need money for achievements. mainly for some of the real world achievements, where i need tons of cash. also i need about 100k clams for one achievement so also wondering how to get that

For clams, that's easy: through good ol' fashioned grinding.
Although, there is a (repeatable) side-quest over Deep Well that will reward you with plenty of clams.

For real-world money, that's trickier.
You're given limited opportunities to earn some each day (picking trash, doing daily jobs...).
That said, there's an old hobo over Faraway Park that will win a lottery later on, and will pay you back double the amount you've given him earlier.

The slots in the Last Resort are pretty generous, but save beforehand just in case you wind up in the red.

In the real world it's harder, you'll just have to take every job you can and do as well as you can on them. You can get roughly a hundred dollars a day if you do:
Pizza delivery
Sorting tools
Swat flies (at Otherworld Market)
Tutoring

There's another job but I forgot what it's called.

Also as Elmioth said the hobo will double your money, so you can invest a few unneeded dollars to him to get everything you need. Your only real concern if you're going for 100% is affording every disc and sparing sixty dollars over the entire game for fish to feed to the cat.

As mentioned already, grinding is the easiest way to get clams, but there's also the Clam Coin found in Last Resort which you can equip to increase clams earned in battle. I find the enemies in (spoilers if you haven't reached the very last area) Humphrey to drop clams the most. As long as you don't go where the game wants you to after that, you can keep exploring previous areas including Sweetheart's castle for Rococo's art, which I'm assuming is what the achievement's for.

Apparently, if you want to get money on the dream world, you can also make enemies happy. They drop more clams when they are happy, it seems (you can also make them angry if you want to get more xp).

For the real world, well, people already mentioned, so just do the jobs.

i think slots are the best way, save scum tripple slimes for 10k a pop

Best way for clams is grinding Squizzards in deep well, which is an achievement of its own, so that's killing 2 birds with 1 stone

i should probably give him all the cash i have left after a day right? or how does it work? do i get double the cash on day 3 or on day 2?

i'm trying to 100% the game in as few runs as possible, so i'll save a lot of time. so i'll probably grind squizzards from the start, and after that i'll probably go into humphrey. but thanks still! i appreciate it

clams - grind the squizzards/sidequest in the sea cow farm on the highway
irl - part time jobs, kel's wardrobe, clean trash
