hikikomori route?

What do people mean when they say hikikomori route? no spoilers please, I just started!

So if I DID open the door at the start, I should go back and not do that? (luckily I made a save file where I still in the prologue), assuming you mean the opening the door while you're sunny

its the second door, the one that says its kel, the first one doesnt matter, if you didnt open the door for kel, i would recommend to open it, since thats the best route for first play

If it's still your first game I'd recommend not doing the Hikikomori route. it feels more like some post content stuff they couldn't fit into the main route, moreso than a satisfying story. I would however recommend giving it a try after finishing the game if you're still looking for some more content.

The "Hikikomori" route depends entirely on opening the door for Kel at the start of the game (not to be confused with the event with Mari at the door). Not opening the door for Kel results in the Hikikomori route. As said above its best to do the Normal route first, as the Hikikomori route is best to be thought of as a sort of post game playthrough you do if you really want more, rather than a full complete story. As for the keys, you wont need to worry about them too much. Just focus on enjoying the game and exploring as you see fit.

they only matter in hikikomori route, since some of them can only be obtained there, so you can ignore them if not doing the hikikomori route
