Age Appropriate
Hi Everyone,

My niece wants this game and I wanted to check it out before we got it for her. She's 13. Mature, but 13 nonetheless. She's into Danganronpa and other similar games. What kind of subjects in the game might be inappropriate? How intense do they get? Is it a good idea for a 13 year old to play this? Any feedback is appreciated, thank you!

It's not particularly violent. It does use some wild surreal imagery at scariest moments. But the plot gets as dark at most as a young adult novel would be so right up her alley as far as age appropriateness goes. Darkest issues in this game is dealing with depression and suicide. Mind it it doesn't support it and the best ending is about overcoming and to come terms with feelings of guilt. I would say it's age appropriate there's nothing sexual in that or to graphically violent.

Most of the game is pretty light fluffy and beautiful outside of its darker moments.

If she's played Danganronpa than this should be fine for her since it's considerably more tame than Danganronpa in my opinion There's no adult language or adult situations, and nothing too graphic or gorey. A lot of things are left up to the imagination in this game rather than shown outright.

About as far as it goes is depictions of depression, mental trauma, and suicide though I feel like they handle it in a very respectful manner.

Can get dark at moments, and can really get depressing, but it certainly has it's happy/funny moments.

Well, humphrey does hilariousely say the F word at one point, but it only has a 1 in 13 chance of happening.
