Probably not.

I would say no. This game deals with topics of depression, anxiety, and suicide. Its not a light game and it really doesnt pull punches with those topics.

It's a very serious game. A good one, but not one I'd recommend for a younger audience. Best let her grow a little more before tackling this one. She'd probably enjoy Undertale though

i'm 13 years old and i play this game, but i don't know you is your daugther mind or if she's mature to play this, i would recommend you search about the game and learn what it talk about so you can say it for yourself

i mean its not really all that bad but there are a few scenes implying suicide and have some that just outright show suicide, hell one of the mechanics to wake yourself up is to stab yourself right in the stomach

If you're not planning to play yourself, watch a walkthrough, or skip through it to see the more serious scenes, and then use your own judgment to determine if she's mature enough.

shell be fine. it deals with death but with the modern world and the news all over the subject, the theme will be a message rather than some shock. its a masterpiece and itll be a defining moment of video games for her.

these other thirteen year old kids saying shes not mature enough lmafoo

I'm thinking about how this may affect a kid's mental state, since the themes are more than just death; it talks of depression, anxiety, and abandonment. I'm not trying to say that this 13 year old kid isn't mature, but I am saying that this may be a bit much for such a kid, especially since I don't know her at all, and I'd rather not mess someone up by introducing such concepts that come from this game onto her.

the game is in no way a light concept. as beautiful and colorful as the scenery and certain locations are. it involves super heavy concepts and dark topics. that being said i think the game could teach a younger person a lot about the way words, actions, and not thinking with a clear head can effective every aspect of a humans mind, body, spirit, and all around self. there is so much life and light among the dark realities of this game. as a few have said it could lend to be a staple of video games to her. this game is truly incredible.

I'm in my mid twenties and even I had to stop playing because of some of the mature themes, I eventually did finish the game though. So no, I would not personally recommend this game to someone very young.

I think this is the best option, you'll know better what your daughter can handle than us.

If you don't have time, it's probably best to err on the side of caution.

The game gets really really dark only whenever you understand the meaning behind everything, 85% of the game is not as obvious as it seems, the ending is tho. If you intend to let her play the game, do it while you watch over her in case she understands the true meaning. It's really really good but everything depends on how she'll take it. I'd personally agree with you letting her play the game.

she is better off with undertale or the mother series, this game is a bit too heavy
Its a good game and I recommended to my 13 year old sister. I highly doubt anyone commenting on this is 18+ and are being little ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Really I think it all depends on the thirteen year old. I got big into horror movies/books (like slasher horror movies/Stephen King) when I was only fourteen or so and I was fine because I knew I could talk with my mom if anything upset/confused me.

So if she's already into horror/doesn't go in expecting everything to be sweet and quirky, I'd say it might be alright, especially if you'll be there to talk if she needs you. It's just hard to judge because everyone is different.
