OMORI

White flashing in the middle of screen
Since the last patch, when I play the game a white box flashes on screen. It flashes the most while I am pressing keys. I thought it was an issue with my computer but this only happened with OMORI. It maybe an issue with fullscreen mode? It messes with the atmosphere of the game a lot. it's super annoying and breaks the emersion for me when outside of fullscreen mode or having the random flashing. It's a no win situation. The atmosphere and emersion is very important to the experience so I don't want to play the game until it is fixed. Any solutions? Or should I just wait for a patch?

I guess we have same problems. I tried to remove and installed, but this never disappear.
I give up to fix this annoying bug, and never play in fullscrean mode.
It's better to see screen when I change 'screen resolution' in option..

I have the same issue. It disappeared when I started a new game, but reappeared next time I loaded the the new save.

I had the same problem, also since my computer is in french, some words are different. If you have an nvida, open the nvidia control pannel (by right clicking on your desk or by typing it in the research bar if you are under windows 10). Then go in the 3d settings and change the dedicated grahic card to high something.

Has anyone resolved this problem yet?

**I found the solution!**

My Laptop has 2 GPUs: Integrated (Intel) and Discrete (Nvidia)

Windows automatically assigns OMORI to the Intel integrated graphics card for some reason which causes a lot of flickering.

Forcing Windows to set it to your Discrete GPU fixes the issue!

See how to here: https://imgur.com/gallery/147Kkk9

1. Search for "Graphics Settings" or go to Settings -> Display -> Graphics.
2. Search for "omori"
3. Pick it and set it to "High Performance"
4. Relaunch the game.

The solution above didn't work for me but I found another solution to this issue.

1. Find the game exe file.
Usually C: / Program Files (x86) / Steam / Steamapps / Common / OMORI
2. Right click the exe file and enter Properties
3. Go to the Compatibility tab
4. Toggle "Disable full-screen optimisations"
5. Toggle "Run this program as an administrator"
6. Hit apply
7. Launch the game.

Viola, enjoy playing the game in Full Screen with no flicker white box crap.

Very nice. Bumping thread for anyone having this issue. However, this will disable Steam overlay as well so keep in mind
