Is the horror in this game avoidable?
been hearing the story and music on this game is good so i want to try it but I'm don't like horror stuff. i can handle playing DDLC and Ib(the old retro game) alone but i can't stand playing game with just constant horror like fatal frames and maybe ao oni lol. i just want to enjoy the story if i can with normal rpg grinding

i already see some scene like Red Maze and coffin Mari that is optional i hear and that i should not see mirror if i want avoid jumpscare but do i need to check mirror at one point of the game to progress the story or side quest?

You can't really avoid the horror stuff in the game- but I think if you can handle Ib or DDLC you should be fine. You're not constantly fending off danger or being chased around by some monster or anything- there are just sections where the game gets creepy.

For what it's worth, I think you're fine avoiding mirrors- I don't remember needing to check any of them.

Not completely avoidable. There are quite a few scares you need to get through to progress but if you ask me they aren't that bad. And yes, you can avoid the mirror to not get scared if you want, though if I remember correctly there's only a mirror scare at two points in the entire game.
You're also not getting jumpscared every minute or anything, the horror segments come after hours of story where you can take in all the rpg elements and lighthearted moments.
I gotta agree with the others on this one. The game isn't really *that* scary, it just gets creepy at times. Most of the game is pretty upbeat, so the horror is really a side-dish.
