Is there any way to change Sunny's name after setting it at the beginning?

I set Sunny's name to my real name, but I'd like to change it back to Sunny. Is there any way to do this? I'd rather not use a save editor, but if that's the only way then please let me know.

Hey there. I, unfortunately, believe it can only be selected and changed in that first instance where you can name him. It can, however, be altered with a save editor. If you're worried about finding spoilers in the game data or anything, I went through the process quickly myself and you can do that without finding anything you Aren't yet meant to see! here's a quick guide on what to do:

Go to Save Editor Online[www.saveeditonline.com] and upload your save of choice (they are contained in the folder labeled "www" then "save" inside your OMORI installation in your Steam folders; though this guide covers the alternation of stats, a visual guide to finding this exact folder is contained within!). Once you have uploaded your save, you'll have the option to alter a bunch of pre-selected variables, but instead of looking at any of those you'll want to scroll to the bottom and select the button labeled "file unpack."[i.imgur.com] Then, search for the name that you gave for Sunny, and replace said string with whatever name you wish! I believe the variable that determines Sunny's name is ' "_name": "[NAME]", ' but I can't say for certain since I don't have a save file in one of the Sunny sections on hand.

Be sure to back up your current save before replacing it with anything else!!! Cheers!

Thank you!!! I've been trying for almost an hour messing with the KEL files trying to convert them to rpgsave files, but this is exactly what I'm looking for :D

yeah sorry I didn't realize there were more than more "_name" variables. Search up "FA_OMORI" (with the quotes, this time). Only one option should return. The one I was referring to is four lines up from that. Cheers!
