OMORI
[⚠️SPOILERS⚠️] Leitmotifs in the OMORI OST!
Marked for ⚠️SPOILERS⚠️ since the specific occurrences of several songs will be discussed.

OMORI reuses several musical phrases throughout its soundtrack, so many that it’s difficult to catch them all! Inspired by a question someone asked me, I thought I’d start a topic cataloging the different leitmotifs throughout the game.

Basil's theme, A Home For Flowers, has four different versions, Tulip,[omori.bandcamp.com] Empty,[omori.bandcamp.com] Daisy,[omori.bandcamp.com] and Sunflower[omori.bandcamp.com] (Sunflower is my favorite ♡♡♡). The main motif from it also appears in the track for one of the cutscenes (the one in the lost library), Bookcase[omori.bandcamp.com].

Speaking of which, Lost Library[omori.bandcamp.com] is a rearrangement of the area theme in Pyrefly Forest, Pyrefly Forest - Cat's Cradle.[omori.bandcamp.com]

Several parts of THE VENGEANCE OF THOSE FORGOTTEN IN DARKNESS[omori.bandcamp.com] reappear in GOLDENVENGEANCE,[omori.bandcamp.com] which is unsurprising given that they're both Pluto's themes.

The lead melody in one of the themes for Dino's Dig, An Archaeic Resonance,[omori.bandcamp.com] is also used within one of the Orange Oasis battle themes, Those Who Forget History.[omori.bandcamp.com]

There are more, but I’m too lazy / tired to write them all out right now, and I’m sure there are ones I’ve missed as well! Do share if you find any!

Most of the important tracks in Otherworld: "Lovesick - 80,000 lightyears", "Three Bar Logos", and "Stardust Diving" are merged into "You Were Wrong. Go Back". "Three Bar Logos" and "80,000 lightyears/I Want Nothing More" make a return in "You Cannot Go Back"

Two of my favorites:

The White Space theme weaves itself into a TON of the tracks throughout the game.

When I listened to the Pharmacy (Other Mart) track back-to-back with the true ending Hospital theme, my mind was blown.

“Do You Remember?” and “Remembrance” are both part of Final Duet, I believe. Probably one of the more obvious leitmotifs, but I didn’t see it posted here.

Lost At A Sleepover[omori.bandcamp.com] and Lost, Then Found![omori.bandcamp.com] have titles that are pretty on the nose about their relation, but I didn't catch it for a long time.
