Hello, I've already finished Omori a while ago, but my friend is on the fight with omori. He's been at is for a while now, and hasn't been able to play Final Duet. This is his fourth try and yet he hasn't been able to do it. I was just wondering if this was a glitch?

Pretty sure you have to make it past a certain point in the dialog to get him to play it, specifically the part where Omori says something along the lines of "you killed Mari. ___ loved her and you killed her." which I think happens after 4 times that Omori doesn't succumb. If Omori kills you before that it just resets the fight.

If he is making it past that trigger where Omori says those lines it could be something wrong with his game.

There is a more certain trigger for that. When you defeat him in his penultimate phase, the text will say "Omori will not succumb" instead of "Omori did not succumb", which is the sign that you are in the last phase.

When I saw your post I thought your friend somehow didn't die to OMORI and is still playing to this day

This made me giggle, I forgot to delete this topic and I just noticed the notifications today. ( And my friend thankfully isn't playing to this day )
