i'm a bit stuck...

ok so after the sleepover with kel and hero i came back to the world with the stump and all that. i went for a swim and for some reason lost mari. then i went into the whirlpool and now im in some underwater well. my problem is that on one side theres a toll gator for go karts or something blocking my way to the left and then theres an endless highway to my right...i have no party anymore and all ive found is the M key. what do i do? this is my first playthrough so don't spoil too much if you can. thanks

when i took the taxi it drove me back to the well automatically but ill try again

edit: i see...i took the cab on the wrong side of the road. thanks you guys i guess im just really dumb
