Pop culture references in the game
After playing the game for a while, I noticed a few pop culture references on it, but I'm sure there must be more, can you share the one you've found? So far I've noticed this ones:
  • In the room where Hero, Aubrey and Kel hang out, you can interact with the TV and read "There's a movie on TV, 4 boys walking on railroad tracks" referencing Pokemon red (as well as the movie "stand by me").
  • The enemy "Dial up" shows the image of a person that looks like the AOL logo.
  • The achievements "See you, space-boyfriend/husband" referencing the song from Cowboy Bebop "See you, Space cowboy"
  • The achievement "ain't nobody here but us chickens" is the name of a song by Louis Jordan.
  • In the real world, the game Space-guy looks like an horizontal version of Space invaders.
  • Also in the real world, the poster of a monster on the back wall at hobeez looks like a combination of Jason and Leatherface
Thanks!

When you climb the long ladder to the otherworld, you can interact with the snake. It will say "ssssss... What a thrill". This is a reference to a very memorable scene from Metal Gear Solid 3 in which you also climb a long ladder.

The doll in the one of the rooms in the last resort may be a reference to "Ebony Devil" from Jojo's bizzare adventure but i'm most likely very wrong

There's "I Want To Believe" poster in the Maverick's room in his and Bread Twins house, which is a reference to the "X-Files" series
"When there's no more room in Hell, the bread will walk the earth" is a reference to Dawn of the Dead (1978)

also, one of the sprout mole village says "despite all my rage, I'm still just a mole in a cage," being a reference to Smashing Pumpkins song "Bullet with butterfly wings"
