Where to proceed after Orange Oasis..?

Hi,

So I've past Sweetheart's Castle, Lost Resort, Deep Well's Humphrey and now I've gone through Orange Oasis. I want to continue the story, and Orange Oasis apparently isn't the place for that, as it apparently can be accessed pretty early on in the game?? I know from the ominous speech after you go into the whirlpool Humphrey left that there is something important in the vast forest... is that where I have to go?

ah, but when I go to Basil's house it gives the Hangman screen (I have one key left to find - 'K', not sure where it is...?) it doesnt let me proceed to Basil's house?? i also checked out the Vast Forest and found nothing (the tire swing set section did have the one-eyed black figure to fight though). I also tried going back into the Blank Space and stabbing Omori to wake him, no luck with progression there....

As far as i know you need to solve the Hangman Game to progress after that you can progress in Basil's House. If i remember correctly the K should be in Sweethearts Castle in the Art Gallery

Wait if you are only missing the K key then you should have completed the message at the bottom of the hangman game. if you have just walk through the whirlpool that humphrey left behind
