Tips for the Jawsum fight?

I've tried just about everything I *can* try on this guy, from combos to item combinations and heal item spam - nothing works. He just keeps summoning more gators and taking 0 damage from any and all attacks, even the group finishers. Im completely softlocked here.

What i did was focus on keeping everyone alive while picking at the gaters health whenever possible until you have 10 energy, then get everyone to use there strongest attacks exceot omori. Get omori to Unleash energy which should clear the board of the gaters and the rest of the party should do a decent chunk of damage to Jawsum. Then repeat that until you win.

Keep the two gators in front of Mr. Jawsum to low health - then, use Rebound with Kel to kill a gators at once and spam your strongest attacks while Mr. Jawsum is vulnerable

And what level should I be for all of this? Because all of their attack turns are one-shotting almost all of my party members.

I fought him at Lv.20

I used multi hit moves like Rebound on Kel, the way the fight works is that the multi hit moves will get redirected to the gators. The damage on Jawsun doesn't get neglected, it just gets moved. This way you can hit the gators extra hard.

The answer was confetti, sparklers, and double-slash spam

Make Jawsum sad, then use rebound and other multi-hit moves as much as possible. After a while he should be running low on juice and you won't have to fight the gators any more
