duck with donut to cattail field?

can't believe i'm stuck but i'm stuck at the otherworld (i missed the visit to train station though i got a little lost, i've helped space boyfriend and pluto), where do i find said donut? do i need to backtrack to the earth again? thanks in advance

I never actually helped the duck and I’m not sure if you can.
If you go all the way to the right from the overworld town, past the junkyard and lake, you eventually loop back around to the cattail field. That’s how I got there and the duck moved by itself.

Can someone explain this in a little more detail please? I'm at the end of my wits here. There is no loop around from Otherworld Town to Cattail Field. If I keep going right I always end up next to the stupid Chelle duck which won't get out of my way. The Junkyard is a separate area in itself, there is campside with only one entrance that doesn't connect to Cattail, and neither does the Frozen Lake area. Every single playthrough I found on YT shows Omori & posse just waltzing in there like no one's business, but I always without fail encounter Chelle duck blocking the path. Is there a quest I need to do beforehand? I've helped out Pluto, cured the Space Captain and retrieved Ducky Jr already.

The donut is in the junkyard. So after wandering for a while past the small dark area that serves as a door, near the shark plane guarding the toilet. Start at the part with the shark place guarding the toilet, go down, left, and go into the garage door before the bushes. Once inside, walk to the left of the area with the computer in it until you find a red glint in the room over. The donut is in there.

If you go back to the ladder you used to enter the other world, the first Long ladder. A shadow will appear and you follow that into the other entrance to the cattail fields.
