I just assumed I have the base competence for the game based on my story duel progression using decks i made, and beating one of the other battle packs 5 to 0.
If i believed i was just simply really good i wouldn't even be posing this question here to ask if its just me or possibly get advise.
As i said its not just that im being beaten, i have played the multiplayer and been legitimately utterly destroyed on that. Its just that the way im being beaten seems to be very specific and it could just be bad rng but yeah....thats pretty bad luck to happen that much
Did you forget about the humble printscreen key? Don't forget about the board states while you're at it.
I waited awhile for a match didn't get one....wait why am i explaining myself to you? You are literally the guy that apparently has nothing further to do with his life other then to be a smart ass and comment on literally most of the posts made about this game despite from what i gather not being a dev, related to them, or in talks with them based upon comments you have made in other posts
Also it still doesn't make sense to screenshot you anything because of the fact that the battle packs are still random even on draft pick when you have any form of choice of what you put in your deck at all....and still thats not much control.
There might be some advise that can be given on trap ratios and stuff like that but at the end of the day its not like you can say "pick this card' because you might not even get that card as a option in the next draft.
At this point this has just become a childish back and forth, so good bye "this is a house" and this post in general. Remember you can take art classes on skillshare to improve your profile pic
K, bye.
However, there might be a reason: make you learn how to use most of the decks you are given. There are ways to counter your opponent with specific cards/strategy. I'm only using story decks in story mode and it is for sure made on purpose when I see how one-sided it can look(AI's much stronger cards, AI better/more constant draws, AI easily counters cards, etc.). It's to force yourself to think and analyze and honestly reading thoroughly helps! At least it did for me.
Now concerning Battlepacks it might be the same in my opinion even though I didn't try them much as of now so maybe try to find out what combos you can do because they often push you to think way further than simply looking at which fusion card to summon :)
That's good to know.
I just browsed for "battle pack single" because I wanted to make sure that I play against the AI and not some toxic random other players. I hate multiplayer so much that I don't wanna stumble into it. So OP asking the question accidentally answered mine.
Also, I only played story mode so far, but I feared that the AI is too DUMB. So hearing that it's not makes me happy. Because there are so many moves which are weird. Like, enemy sees I have "mirror force" and attacks with his Lvl 7 monster. Or setting my monsters to defense, ending their turn und I can just send them into attack mode.
