Unlocking battle packs

when do you unlock the first battle pack and how do you unlock the other two

you dont know have to do that to unlock them i have three unlocked and have not even finished the first series, i trying to find out so my friends can focus on unlocking them, its something battle focused im just not sure what

that is impossible since my freind hasn't fought pass mako he just keeps fighting him and has all three unlocked as where my other friend has made it to strings but only has one unlocked, so it has to be something else such as a number of wins or something and if so how many wins

guys I been playing this before it was on steam to unlock all the battle packs it is about finishing the whole campaign that's normal yu-gi-oh to vrains :P

This is incorrect, it is duel-count based. I came here looking for an answer, since the first battle pack is an excellent way to get OP cards early. It seems to be win-based, not progression based. Only takes a handful of wins to unlock the first battle pack. I want to say 5, then 10, then 20 for the third.

Source -> Currently dueling Joey over and over while he kills himself so I can earn 50k defending points damage, got all 3 battle packs and I haven't even dueled Weevil yet.
