So I'd say yes. Just my opinion.
- Old version currently follows a January 2015 banlist. Outdated cards, and thats why i like it.
- Campaign: really enjoyable!
- Multiplayer: great, if u have friends
I think Old version is more enjoyable. I have ~ 1500 hrs on steam and sometimes still playing with friends
You won't see them in a duel, just on the leaderboards with more points than it is physically possible to get in the amount of time the game has been out.
You can cheat your score on leaderboard on Steam and u could to do that on playstation version too. No one really cares about that. "Enjoy the game" and "play with friends" are the most important things.
If you intend to go in solo, then this game is not for you. Playing against AI - would be really boring.
If you're only here for the multiplayer, then go get one of the fangames that I'm not going to name because Konami is theoretically supposed to be looking at this board. Their single player varies from significantly worse to outright nonexistent, but you get a more up-to-date cardpool and dramatically more quality of life features. Just... stay away from Dawn of a New Era. Everything I said about fangames still applies to it, but it's the next worst option and also allegedly a security hazard.
